Umano surfaces the underlying drivers of behaviour from your team's source tools to spot outliers and opportunities for improvement. Once you have created an account and connected your data sources, you can create a project.

A project tells Umano which source tools are used by your team (for example, which Slack channels and Bitbucket repositories), as well as which team members contribute to the project.

In this article, you’ll learn how to create a Umano Project.

Instructions

To create a project, follow these steps.

  1. Navigate to the project creation section in Umano. You can find this at https://yourUrl.umano.tech/#/registration/project, where yourUrl is the URL of your Umano workspace.

  2. Click “Add a new project”.

  3. Type a name for your project.

  4. Click “Continue”.

  5. Select the tools used by your team for this project. For each tool selected, you will need to provide information on how your team use this tool (for example, if your team uses Slack, which Slack channels relate to this project).

Instructions on how to select a tool for your Umano Project can be found:

  6. Click “Continue”.

  7. Select the team members who contribute to this project.

  8. Click “Select project members”.

  9. We’ll display a confirmation message.
